SpamAssassin is an automated mail filter that can identify spam (unsolicited email). It is designed to identify and mark emails that score beyond your threshold value.

You can configure your SpamAssassin via your cPanel control panel by going to:
cPanel > Mail > SpamAssassin > Configure SpamAssassin

For example, a SpamAssassin setting of 5 means emails will need to have 5 spam characteristics to be caught as spam.

You can also "whitelist" and "blacklist" spacific email addresses and/or domains.
